Indigenous Western Australians urged to enrol for Senate election

1 March 2014: Now that the 2014 WA Senate election has been announced, Indigenous Western Australians need to act now to ensure they are enrolled to vote, the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) said today.

28 February 2014: The Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) today acknowledged that a writ for a Western Australian Senate election had been issued by His Excellency Mr Malcolm McCusker AC CVO QC, Governor of Western Australia (WA). The election will be held on Saturday 5 April 2014.
