  Driver's licence

  

  Pensioner Concession Card; Concession available to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria

  Eligible applicants under 65 can receive savings between $10.22 and $49.64, depending on the length of time the drivers licence is issued.

  Driver licence discounts are available to people who hold:

  • a DHS or DVA Pensioner Concession Card
  • a DHS Health Care Card
  • hold a Repatriation Health Card – For All Conditions (Gold Card) or Repatriation Health Card – For Specific Conditions (White Card)
  • or are members of the Transport Access Scheme (for people with a severe disability).

  There is no licence fee for people 65 years and over, however, there is a small photo card fee.

  Firearms fees

  

  Pensioner Concession Card

  A 20 per cent reduction on fees is available to people who hold a:

  • DHS or DVA Pensioner Concession Card.

  Inland recreational angling licence

  

  Pensioner Concession Card; Seniors Card; Concession available to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria

  Savings on full season adult angling licences are available to:

  • DHS or DVA Pensioner Concession Card holders (discount of 45 per cent)
  • Seniors Card holders – all states and territories (discount of 20 per cent)
  • people aged between 14 and 17 years (discount of 80 per cent).

  Recreational game licence

  

  Pensioner Concession Card; Seniors Card

  A 20 per cent discount for recreational game licences applies for:

  • deer
  • wallaby
  • muttonbird
  • pheasant
  • wild duck
  • brown quail.

  The discount is available to people who have a:

  • DHS or DVA Pensioner Concession Card
  • DHS Health Care Card
  • Tasmanian Seniors Card.

  Water licence

  

  Pensioner Concession Card

  All licensees are eligible for rebates of 50, 70 or 100 per cent when:

  • the water allocations under the licence are exclusively for stock and domestic (but not commercial) use; and
  • the maximum daily quantity of water taken is less than 0.01ML.
