10,000 full-time jobs have been lost under the Labor-Green minority experiment, and Tasmania’s unemployment rate is the highest in the country. The Liberals have a Plan to create jobs through policies such as reintroducing an international shipping service, investing an additional $16m in tourism marketing, and supporting our agricultural sector.
Under the Labor-Green minority experiment, business confidence has collapsed, sovereign risk has become a real issue and Tasmania is in recession. The Liberals’ Plan will restore confidence in our economy, introduce a single state-wide planning scheme, and cut red and Green tape by 20 percent to encourage investment.
Only the Liberals can provide the strong, stable majority government Tasmania needs. We will do no deals. A vote for Labor, the Greens, or any other minority party is a vote for another Labor-Green minority government.
