Aboriginal Heritage Legislation

The Government announced in 2011 that it was developing new Aboriginal heritage legislation. In the 2012-13 Budget it was confirmed that the legislation would be introduced to Parliament in 2013, and the 2013-14 Budget commits funding for its implementation over four years. This project has been overseen by the Aboriginal Affairs Committee of Cabinet, chaired by the Premier.
