Office of Parliamentary Counsel
The primary services provided by the Office are:
- drafting of proposed new legislation and amendments to existing legislation as required by the Government's legislative program
- preparation of relevant advice on legislative matters for Ministers, Members of Parliament and instructing agencies
- maintaining the electronic database of Tasmanian Legislation.
