Wireless Internet Access (Wi-Fi)

The Supreme Court has arranged for limited wireless internet access to be available in Hobart. The service will allow court users free access to browse the internet including access to web e-mail.

The service is available in the public areas of the Civil Court Building. This includes within Court Rooms 1, 2 and 3, the foyer and waiting areas on the ground floor and within the Andrew Inglis Clark Law Library on the Lower Ground Floor.

The service will be available during Registry hours.

It is important to note that while the service is being funded by the Supreme Court it is provided through a third party. While every endeavor will be made to ensure the service is available during the above times the Court will not be responsible for any periods the service is not available.

To access the Wi-Fi service your laptop or PDA device will need to have wireless capability.

The connection for this service is SupremeCourt. If you have wireless capability your laptop or PDA should automatically detect this service.
