This exhibition features the largest donation of artworks ever made to the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts. The private donation of 65 paintings was made last year.
The paintings are by a group of well-known Tasmanian artists. The artists painted together every Sunday since the 1950s.
It took over a decade for art collectors Don and Maggie Row to assemble this group of paintings. They were donated through the Federal Government’s Cultural Gifts Program.
Interviews with the surviving artists feature in the exhibition catalogue.
