Major Development Infrastructure Assistance Fund

Expressions of interest have closed for the Major Development Infrastructure Assistance Fund (MDIAF).

The objective of the MDIAF is to generate new investment and create jobs by offering grants to assist eligible developers by facilitating a start to significant projects that help strengthen Tasmania's economy.  This one-off relief for infrastructure costs incurred will be given to those significant projects that are proven to have the potential to generate immediate economic activity and jobs.

The MDIAF is aligned with the Tasmanian Government's Economic Development Plan and Regional Economic Development Plans and aims to stimulate the state's construction sector.

This program provides one-off project grants of between $100 000 and $1 million per project to eligible applicants.  Up to $3 million in total will be made available for this fund.

Expressions of interest will be assessed on the basis of competitive merit against the established assessment criteria contained within the MDIAF guidelines below.

Applications are now closed.
