Going to Court

Courtroom Priority

In the courtroom, cases will be called on in the following priority:

1. Parties with Solicitors will be dealt with first.

2. Parties who arrive by 9.45 AM and tell the Court Clerk that they are present will be dealt with next.

3. Those Parties who arrive after court has commenced will be dealt with when the clerk and Magistrate can get to that matter.  If Parties have not spoken to the court clerk before court starts, it will be necessary to wait until court proceedings allow the court clerk time to further check as to who is present.  It is essential that you remain in or near the rear of the courtroom.

If you have an urgent appointment you should tell the clerk before court starts.
