New import restrictions recently imposed.

Import Restrictions relating to Myrtle Rust
The Department has prohibited the import of plants, cut flowers, seed, fruit, pollen, foliage & tissue culture from all plants from the Myrtaceae family in response to an exotic fungus disease outbreak in NSW.

Avian Paramyxovirus – Import Restrictions
Pigeons and pigeon eggs must meet conditions set out in the General Authority for the importation of pigeons and pigeon eggs into Tasmania

Import Restrictions in Response to Green Snail in Victoria
Outlines the restrictions in place on Green Snail host produce into Tasmania. Green Snail is a Type A pest in Tasmania.

Restrictions on Importing Fox and Fox Products
Outlines the restrictions in place on fox products. Please note there is a total ban on the importation of live foxes into Tasmania.

Restrictions on Fin-Fish & Fin-Fish Products
Non-viable fin-fish and products derived from fin-fish are a restricted material. Includes a list of the restricted fish plus their import requirements.
