  The Ambulance Tasmania Volunteer Gateway is a web-based service for Volunteer Ambulance Officers to help organise rosters and training schedules and provide access to online learning and other resources that today's volunteers want to be able to access online, anytime, anywhere.
 
We've been busy ....

In the 24 hours until midnight last night, 101 Volunteer Ambulance Officers worked 134 shifts at 34 stations, and were collectively on duty for a total of 1012 hours.

That's an average of 10.02 hours per volunteer.

There are currently 33 volunteers on duty at 26 branch and volunteer stations across Tasmania [at 2:56pm today].

Volunteer Ambulance Officers in Tasmania

"Making a Difference" is a quick look at the valuable work done by Tasmania's 500+ volunteer ambulance officers. The video was funded by the Australian Government through the National Emergency Volunteer Support Fund. It was produced by Rosny College VET Television Production Unit for the Volunteer Ambulance Officers Association of Tasmania Inc. and the Tasmanian Ambulance Service.

The volunteer recruitment vehicle is also available to each VAO group at various times between events for use in your local community to recruit more volunteers and raise awareness about Ambulance Tasmania.
