With easy access to a range of sporting clubs, high quality facilities and fitness events, there are fantastic opportunities for the whole family to get involved in physical activities at all levels, from local community fun runs to elite athletes training at the Tasmanian Institute of Sport.

The Tasmanian Trail (mountain biking, walking, horse riding)

Sport and Recreation Tasmania run Get Moving Tasmania which offers ways of connecting with local walking groups, bushwalking clubs and walking tracks.

Bush walking trails and camping grounds are managed by the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service.
