Application guide

Arts Tasmania provides funding to individuals and organisations through various grants and loans programs.

It is strongly recommended that you to contact one of Arts Tasmania's Program Officers before submitting your grant application to obtain advice that may be relevant to your specific proposal.  Please call (03) 6237 6323 to speak to a Program Officer or to book an appointment.

How to apply

  1. Please check the general eligibility requirements to ensure that you and/or your project is eligible
  2. Check the closing date and download the toolkit of the relevant funding round
  3. Read the terms of grant/loan in the application toolkit 
  4. Start developing your project idea
  5. Contact an Arts Tasmania Program Officer (03) 6237 6323 or arts.tasmania@arts.tas.gov.au
  6. Write your application using the application toolkit as a guide 
  7. Prepare the budget - a template is available in the application toolkit 
  8. Select support material and gather supporting documentation as described in the application toolkit 
  9. Review your application (Program Officers are able to assist with this step) 
  10. Submit your application.
