Front Fog Lights

The Tasmanian Road rules requires the driver of a vehicle fitted with front fog lights (or rear fog lights) to not operate the fog lights unless the driver is driving in fog or other hazardous weather conditions causing reduced visibility.

New Road Safety Rules

On 30 November 2009 changes to the Road Rules apply. Some rules referred to in the handbook may be out of date. Get your fact sheets from Service Tasmania or go to New Road Safety Rules
