Grants

Events Tasmania's Grants Program for 2013 closed on 6 August 2012.

The list of 2013 Grant recipients can be found here.

The Grants Program for 2014 will open in May 2013.

Events Tasmania provides grants to private business, clubs, associations and community groups.

Grants are provided to:

New Event Ideas

New Event Ideas grants are offered as seed funding to event projects that will establish a new or innovative event product in Tasmania, or substantially evolve the operations of an existing event.

New Event Ideas projects must deliver substantial benefits to the region in which they are held. The communities involved as workers, volunteers, participants and audiences must also benefit from the project.

Events Tasmania will work closely with the successful applicants in the development of the project.

If you have an event project which you believe could qualify, please visit the New Event Ideas section.

Small Event Projects

Events Tasmania offers Small Event Projects grants. These grants are to assist event organisers to undertake a specific project that will improve their existing event or will help to create a new event in 2013.

Examples of small strategic projects that would be suitable for this grant are targeted marketing initiatives, new activities within an event, expansion of an aspect of an event, a pilot program to test a new event concept, purchase of essential equipment, or to employ someone to deliver a new program.

If you have an event project that you believe could qualify, please visit the Small Event Projects section to check the selection criteria, guidelines and examples of small event projects.
