B - Elements of the brand
Mandatory elements must be used in every application – they are not optional and cannot be changed.
There are four mandatory elements:
Exemptions from using these elements must be sought from the Director, Communications Policy, DPAC, through your Agency Communications Manager.
Flexible design elements help to establish a consistent brand identity. The use of flexible design elements is optional.
The flexible elements are:
- A curve-based design style
- Water lines
Curved shapes and water lines can be used in any configuration or orientation, but the use of lineal, boxed or angled shapes should be avoided.
