Hobart and Launceston

As the state’s largest housing provider, you definitely won’t be disappointed with the choices available to you.
Choose between several styles of accommodation and support options on the Hobart and Launceston Campuses.
Each residence is unique, offering a range of social, cultural and sporting opportunities in an environment conducive to study and academic achievement.
Significant emphasis is placed on fostering safe, healthy, supportive and resilient residential academic communities. There is an emphasis on sharing, learning and experiencing different values, cultures and customs.
Hobart campus: Christ College, John Fisher College,University Apartments and Mt Nelson Villas.
Launceston campus: Leprena, Kerslake Hall and Investigator Hall.

Jane Franklin Hall

Established in 1950, Jane Franklin Hall is a fully-catered, traditional residential college. Jane Franklin Hall is more than a residence: our purpose is to provide residents with the finest possible educational and pastoral context in which to pursue their studies, and is conveniently situated, midway between the centre of Hobart and the Hobart campus.

Tasmania University Union Housing Scheme

The TUU housing scheme aims to provide students with affordable accommodation in close proximity to the University campuses. Accommodation offered by the scheme generally consists of a room in a shared house with between three to five bedrooms. A number of self-contained one or two bedroom flats are available.
