In May 2008 the State Revenue Office released its first Taxpayer Charter. The Charter was developed for taxpayers and their representatives providing information to assist them in complying with their taxation responsibilities.
The charter outlines the service standards a taxpayer can expect from the State Revenue Office and aims to communicate our commitment to being transparent and accountable.
In light of feedback from you, the Charter has been reviewed resulting in the Taxpayer Charter 2010 . Changes to the Charter mean it will better meet your needs and be easier to navigate and find information.
