Volunteers

SES volunteers come from all walks of life, all backgrounds and all professions.  In fact, the main thing SES volunteers have in common is a desire to make a contribution within their community.

SES volunteers make themselves available for call out to emergencies when required, depending on their individual skills.

Volunteers receive comprehensive training to enable them to perform the tasks required.  This training is competency based and recognised nationally.

The benefits of becoming a SES volunteer are immense.  Volunteers have many opportunities to develop new, nationally recognised skills, from new friendships, accept high levels of responsibility and enjoy the team spirit of a tightly knit unit.

To enquire about becoming an SES volunteer contact your regional office.  For contact details click here.
