Partnership agreements with local government

The aim of the partnership agreements program is to find better ways of serving Tasmanian communities by intergovernmental collaboration.

Partnership agreements are part of the State Government's broader agenda of developing partnerships with the community to find new opportunities for economic and social development.

There are four types of partnership agreements: bilateral, regional, statewide and tripartite.

To date, 56 agreements have been signed.

The third Break O'Day partnership agreement was signed on 22 May 2011.
